Inaugural internships in 2023 with more in 2024
As 2023 draws to a close, we are thrilled to report that the inaugural internships with Saskatoon were successful.
Launch of Saskatoon Internship Program
(August 26, 2023) Thanks to supporters like you, we funded our first program from the Graham Mitchell Leadership Fund. On August 25, the city of Saskatoon—in Graham’s home province of Saskatchewan—welcomed two new interns.
2023 Fund Update
(April 10, 2023) Thank you so much for your financial support of the Graham Mitchell Leadership Fund. We launched the fund in Toronto in November 2022, and by the end of December, we raised $48,225!
November 4 launch in Toronto
We had a beautiful launch of the fund in Toronto in November, with tributes and laughter and tears. The evening had a few guest speakers, including Neethan Shan, Executive Director of Urban Alliance on Race Relations (pictured right). It was wonderful to gather at the Rivoli, a place that Graham occasionally frequented during his time working at Toronto City Hall.
